Our Story
Established as a small business in 2012 by Bob and Barbara Allen in Southern California, Moto Pockets was born from a passion for adventure. The company (Adventure Pockets) originally started by designing bags for stand-up paddleboards but quickly transitioned into the motorcycle industry. In 2022 our family acquired Moto Pockets and jumped in feet first to grow the business and brand.
Located in San Diego, CA we are driven by our enthusiasm for riding motorcycles and years of off-road racing. This isn’t just a business, it’s a lifestyle that runs deep in our blood!
Meet the Owners - Erik and Ursula
As husband and wife team, we head up the day-to-day operations overseeing everything from shipping and accounting to marketing and product development. Our hands-on approach and commitment to excellence encompasses every aspect of the business including customer service, vendor relations, and quality control.
We lead a busy lifestyle raising 2 amazing kids, working round-the-clock, and carving out time for fun, whether it be boating, fishing, riding motorcycles, organizing group rides, or exploring Baja. The reality is that jumping into this business was like adopting a 3rd child! Similar to parenting, the learning curve, time commitment, sleepless nights, and growth have been crazy and the rewards incredibly fulfilling. Our family motto has always been “Work Hard, Play Hard.”
